About Pursuing God Together
Pursuing God Together is a Christ-centered ministry created to encourage believers, foster spiritual maturity, and support intentional discipleship. This space exists for those who desire to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ through Scripture, thoughtful teaching, and lived faith.
At its core, Pursuing God Together is about walking faithfully with God—not in isolation, but in community. We believe spiritual growth is a lifelong process shaped by truth, humility, obedience, and grace. Through biblical teaching, reflection, and practical insight, this ministry seeks to help believers navigate faith with clarity and conviction in today’s world.
Jesus’ call to His followers was clear:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19–20).
Pursuing God Together exists in response to that call—not to build an institution, but to faithfully participate in the work of discipleship. This ministry seeks to equip believers to know Christ more deeply, grow in spiritual maturity, and live out their faith in everyday life, rooted in love, truth, and obedience to God’s Word.
Scripture is our primary authority and foundation, and we also recognize that God’s design is consistently revealed through order, structure, and intelligibility in creation. Science does not stand in opposition to faith; rather, it continually points to an intelligent Creator whose wisdom is reflected in the natural world, the human mind, and the patterns that govern life itself. When rightly understood, scientific discovery does not diminish belief—it deepens awe, humility, and reverence for God.
Pursuing God Together intentionally weaves this understanding into practical discipleship. By acknowledging how science reveals God’s order and design, we aim to strengthen the credibility of the Christian faith and equip believers to engage thoughtfully with the world around them. This integration helps disciples live out their faith with confidence, wisdom, and discernment—grounded in biblical truth while engaging honestly with evidence and lived experience.
Pursuing God Together is led by Nakia, a nurse practitioner and doctoral student in psychology with a deep commitment to discipleship, spiritual formation, and encouraging believers in their walk with Christ. With a heart for teaching and a passion for integrating biblical truth with thoughtful, evidence-informed understanding, Nakia seeks to create a space that is both spiritually grounded and deeply human.
This ministry is not about perfection, performance, or platforms—it is about answering Christ’s call to make disciples, recognizing God’s wisdom revealed in both Scripture and creation, and faithfully pursuing God together, one step at a time.
